We Are The BOYD'S |
| We are the Boyd's, Marc, Mandy, Collin, and last but certainly not least, Taylor (Tay-Tay). We live on 40 mostly wooded acres in Ash Flat, Arkansas. Marc is an avid hunter and when not with the Bullies, you will find him working on his food plot and enjoying the deer in our area. Collin, is 15 years old and goes to Highland High School where he plays football and track for the REBELS. Collin is a HUGE part of the care of the kennel areas. We couldn't do it without him! Taylor is our resident little over achiever. Taylor is 13 and goes to Highland Middle School where she plays basketball and cheer leads for the Rebels Football team. Taylor also competes in local beauty pageants. As I said before, our little over achiever. I am Mandy, for those of you who couldn't figure out where I fit in. I am the one in the back ground watching my family shine. I spend most of time working on www.boydsbullies.com. When I am not doing this I enjoy my AQHA, Captain. He was my first born and you will see pictures of him on the funny family photo pages. He is an in the pocket and in the way baby that is always knocking on the door to get in or trying to steal the dogs food. Captain doesn't know he is a horse and Dart the Great Dane thinks he is a horse. You will see pictures of Dart throughout as well. Dart has been with me 5 years and was a rescue. In 5 years Dart has been saved from death 3 times. (I think he thinks he is part cat and part horse). Dart is in his late senior years, but still sleeps in bed with Collin. Yes, all 220 pounds of him cuddles up like he belongs there. Gracie is our resident Princess. She is a 6 pound sleeve Pekingese. Her personality is 220 pounds plus! Together, we make up the Boyd's. Please feel free to look around and browse our photos. You will find we are just a small town family that does everything with love. If you choose a puppy form Boyd's Bullies, you will know they were raised with love! One thing I would like to take time to acknowledge is my family volunteers for the Hardy Mission of Hope in Hardy, Arkansas. It is a transitional housing, soup kitchen, food bank, Christian oriented ministry that helps hundreds of families a year. There is a link on the home page that tells more about it. Even Collin and Taylor have helped box groceries for the families in need in our community. It is a family belief to give back what you take from your community. We share this belief not only in our community but in our kennel. We give back to our dogs in any way we can. They are never mass bred or over bred. It is our goal to maintain the quality of life for each and every dog we have in our care first and fore most. After all, you get what you give. Each of our dogs give their love, loyalty, and life for us. We in return give it all back. Please consider adopting retired breeders even if puppies are available. We will never breed a dog past their prime. So rest assured of may years of love in each dog. I hope this gives you some idea of who we are and what we stand for. Please feel free to email us, call us, write us, or just post in the guest book. We would love to hear from everyone. The Boyd's wish a wonderful day and many blessings. |
